GMLJP2
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
GMLJP2 is a metadata standard that enables one to embed geospatial metadata in georeferenced JPX (JPEG 2000 Part 2) images.
Format
GMLJP2 data is XML-based, and is stored in "xml
" boxes nested inside "asoc
" boxes.
Because "asoc
" boxes are only defined in the JPX specification, and not in the JP2 specification, GMLJP2 files must be labeled (branded) as JPX format instead of JP2 format. However, some invalid GMLJP2 files labeled as JP2 do exist.
