Linguistic Annotation Framework (LAF) is a data structure for saving annotations connected with language data, whether in audio, video, or text form, used by computational linguists. It is standardized as ISO 2462:2012, produced by the committee ISO/TC 37/SC4. It is an abstract framework of structured data which permits representation in different actual file formats, such as XML.
