Fossil configuration database
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
The version control software Fossil keeps its per-user configuration in a file called ".fossil" (with nothing before the dot; something there indicates a Fossil repository database) in the user's home directory. Instead of ".fossil" the configuration database file is sometimes called "fossil.db" on Unix. On Windows the configuration database name is "_fossil".[2] Unusually, this is not a structured text file, but rather a SQLite database, although this is to be expected, given Fossil's love for it. The application ID for a Fossil configuration database is 252006675. [3]
