FMZ (Form•Z project file) is the native format of the Form•Z 3D modeling software. The extensions .fmz and .fml are apparently both used for files within this variety; it's unclear what distinction this makes. There have also been multiple variants from different versions of Form•Z; in particular, the documentation of the software notes that the v9 project files differ from v8.
