Cyrillic numerals use are similar to hebrew numerals in that they use letters that take values from 1 to 900, beyond that there are special symbols that define larger numbers. In text letters that are part of a number are distinguished from words by adding ҃ over the letter.

The value of the number is the sum of all the letter/character values used.

There are also combining symbols that multiply values of letters with values 1-9 by some value:

  • ҂ - 1 thousand (placed in front of the letter)
  • (circle) - 10 thousand
  •   ҈  - 100 thousand
  •   ҉  - 1 million
  •   ꙰  - 10 million
  •   ꙱  - 100 million
  •   ꙲  - 1 thousand million
