Adobe RGB (1998)
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
Adobe RGB (1998), or just Adobe RGB, is a color space associated with Adobe Photoshop. It has a somewhat larger color gamut than sRGB.
It was invented accidentally by Adobe, in a botched attempt to support SMPTE 240M. Photoshop originally listed it as "SMPTE 240M", but soon renamed it to "Adobe RGB 1998".
