Lotus ScreenCam was screencast software used to record video and audio of your computer screen.[1] ScreenCam software was needed to record screencasts, but a free viewer was available to playback video files.[2]

File Information

SCM files are a proprietary binary file which header begins with hex 8053434D4F56 or ASCII .SCMOV followed by the version of the format.

AVI was added in ScreenCam 97 as an additional format, therefore in order to migrate SCM files to AVI Lotus SmartCam 97 is needed.
