Digital Speech Standard (DSS) is a proprietary audio file format defined by the International Voice Association (IVA), which is a cooperative venture between Grundig, Olympus and Philips. It has recently been expanded to the DSS Pro format, which supports encryption. DSS files will use the extension .dss and DSS Pro uses the extension .ds2.
