Cyrillic numerals use are similar to hebrew numerals in that they use letters that take values from 1 to 900, beyond that there are special symbols that define larger numbers. In text letters that are part of a number are distinguished from words by adding ҃ over the letter.
The value of the number is the sum of all the letter/character values used.

There are also combining symbols that multiply values of letters with values 1-9 by some value:
- ҂ - 1 thousand (placed in front of the letter)
- (circle) - 10 thousand
- ҈ - 100 thousand
- ҉ - 1 million
- ꙰ - 10 million
- ꙱ - 100 million
- ꙲ - 1 thousand million
