Capture One is a RAW photo editor geared for photography.[1] RAW images can be non-destructively edited and saved to an EIP package for sharing and archiving. The EIP package contains the original RAW file along with any edits stored in XML, package can also contain a Lens Cast Calibration file containing information on illumination adjustments.
[edit] File Information
EIP files are ZIP containers.[2] They contain a RAW file in the original compatible format, along with one or many manifest.xml files containing adjustments and other metadata. A CaptureOne folder contains settings and other technical metadata for the RAW file.[3]
