[edit] File formats

[edit] .hc

.hc is a binary file format used to capture the configuration and layout of a webpage. The extension possibly refers to Heppkat Communicator. It was replaced with .xpf circa May 2006.

Other than the first 4 bytes (FF FF FF FF), the entire file consists only of bytes from 30 (0) to 6F (o) and so can generally be presented as ASCII.

[edit] .xpf

.xpf is an XML-based file format used to capture the configuration and layout of a webpage.
