Canvas is a graphics application for Atari ST computers. It has several associated graphics file formats, including:

  • Compact Picture Format (.CPT)
  • Compact Picture Format Hue Balance info? (.HBL)
  • FullPic Picture Format (.FUL)
  • Canvas Picture Format (.CNV)
  • IMG Picture Format (.IMG)
  • Palette Format (.PAL)

.cpt can be converted on their own. If a corresponding .hbl file is present, then additional information in the .hbl file produces a picture with better colors.
