File Format
Name AAIP
Ontology

AAIP (Arbitrary Attribute Interchange Protocol) is a (proposed?) SUSP-based extension to ISO 9660 format, developed in association with the Libburnia software. The goal is to support arbitrary named attributes, and ACLs.

Format details

AAIP uses "AL" as its SUSP entry signature. (Early versions proposed "AA", risking a conflict with Apple ISO 9660 extensions.)

It is related to the format of the Rock Ridge "SL" (symbolic link) entry.

SUSP "ER" identifiers are "AAIP_0200" and "AAIP_0100".
