Movie Magic Screenwriter is speciality screenwriting/word processing software developed by Write Brothers for Windows and Macintosh.[1] Started out as Scriptor in 1983.[2][3] Write Brothers is also known as Screenplay Systems.[2][4]
File Information
Movie Magic screenwriter has used a few extensions over the years, including SCR, STW, SCW, MMSW, MMX.[5]
- SCW Version 2-4 Scripts are in a proprietary format beginning with the ASCII "
ScreenwriterWinVer." followed by a version number. - MMSW Version 6 Scripts are in a proprietary format beginning with the ASCII "
ScreenwriterWinVer." followed by 6.00.
