Coded anti-piracy (CAP)

Coded anti-piracy (CAP) is a series of dots that are unique for every print of a motion picture, enabling leaks and illegal copies to be traced.
Variants:
- Kodak's CAP - developed in 1982
- Deluxe's CAP - more visible dots to thwart camcorders and telecine
- CineFence - developed by Philips in 2006, complies with Digital Cinema System Specification forensic marking mandates, encodes 35 bits/5 minutes
