CPS project
The CPS project format is used to save projects for the CPS interactive programming environment for audio, MIDI and other media & I/O. This was originally a commercial program but later became freeware. The name can stand for Cycles per Second or "what you think that it means, as long as it sounds positive", according to the online FAQ.
Searching for information on this sort of "CPS project" can be difficult online, as you wind up with all sorts of stuff about projects related to the Current Population Survey or Critical Project Services or Chicago Public Schools or Cambridge Public Schools or some system called CPS that has something to do with creating project files for Microsoft development systems (hmm, maybe that last one has some file formats connected with it that could use pages here, but this isn't the one).
