From Just Solve the File Format Problem
- See JAM for other formats with that name.
.JAM is a raster image format. It was used in the DOS version of Disney's Aladdin, a mid-1990s video game published by Virgin Interactive.
It was also used by several other video games, such as International Sports Challenge by Empire Software, and Dino Jnr. in Canyon Capers by Villa Crespo Software. More research is needed to figure out its origin.
