Tilez texture
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
Tilez texture (.til) is a file format associated with the Tilez and Buttonz graphics applications for Windows (Windows 95/98 era). The applications were developed by Björn Ischo. A TIL file primarily stores a raster graphics image.
The application names are often written "Tilez!" and "Buttonz!".
TIL format is based on QDB format from the QDB database software by Robert R. Marsh.
There is also a .bff ("Button Factory File"?) format, which seems similar, but hasn't been studied.
Identification
A TIL file is a kind of QDB file; refer to QDB (Robert R. Marsh)#Identification.
A TIL file starts with bytes 'Q' 'D' 'B' 0x00
, and (usually?) has an embedded JPEG file starting at offset 8.
