Shrinker is an executable compression utility. It was developed by Blink, Inc. and/or A.S.M. Inc.

As of v3.4, it compresses DOS EXE, 16-bit Windows EXE, and 32-bit Windows EXE files. The utility can run on DOS, Windows 3.x (GUI), or 32-bit Windows (GUI), but may require Windows 3.x to install.

Identification

DOS EXE: Files compressed by v3.4 demo are observed to have ASCII "51" at offset 28, and "SHR3" at offset 48.

Note that programs compressed by the demo version of Shrinker display a nag message at startup. So, the demo version produces different files than the full version.
