DrawingML is an XML-based format that is not generally found as standalone files, but rather is embedded within files of the XML-based Microsoft Office formats such as DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX. It is a complex conglomeration of specs and namespaces to encompass a number of different sorts of charts, diagrams, and pictures.
