DNG camera profile
From Just Solve the File Format Problem
DNG camera profile is (1) a collective name for the various TIFF tags used for color profile information in a DNG file, and (2) a specialized file format which stores just those tags. We'll call the file format DCP.
A DNG file may have profile data integrated into the first IFD. Starting with DNG v1.2.0.0, DCP format may be used for additional embedded profiles, pointed to by TIFF tag 50933 (ExtraCameraProfiles). DCP format can also appear by itself in a .dcp file.
DCP format is TIFF-like, but with a different file signature.
