Windows 1250 (CP1250, Windows-1250, Windows CP1250, Windows Latin Eastern) is a character encoding used in Microsoft Windows systems, aimed at central and eastern Europe. It is one of the Windows encodings. It includes all the characters of ISO 8859-2 (Latin-2), though not always in the same positions, as well as additional characters.
