SyQuest was a brand of removable disk cartridges that had some popularity in the 1980s and 1990s especially in the publishing field, where it was often used to send desktop-publishing documents to printing plants. They were made in capacities from 5 MB to 4.7 GB, and the 44 MB 5.25" cartridges were for a time very popular. In 1999, SyQuest was bought by Iomega.
