WINGS is not just a '90s sitcom or the band Paul McCartney was in after that other band. (Or what angels get when a bell rings, or what buffalo don't have even if you had some as a snack while watching the big game... we can go on forever with these...) It's the format used by Wings 3D, a 3D subdivision modeler program that is free and open-source.

The "Wings" name comes from winged-edge data structures, which are used to represent 3D shapes.
