HomeWord and HomeWord Plus were word processors from Sierra Online released in the mid-1980s for personal computers including the Apple II (under ProDOS) and the Tandy 1000 (under MS-DOS). They were intended for home users. Files edited in HomeWord were basically plain ASCII, with a few embedded commands to do things like set margins and make parts of the text boldfaced or underlined.
