Funcom ISS files are IMA ADPCM audio files used in a number of games by Funcom, including The Longest Journey. They may be stored either as standalone files, with the extension .iss or as XARC archives, with the extension .xarc. When stored as XARC archives, they are stored "as-is" i.e. without compression or encryption.
