LuraWave (LWF) is a proprietary raster image format developed by LuraTech. It uses wavelet compression. Some parts of it were incorporated into the JPEG 2000 standard.
At one time, LuraTech offered software such as a Netscape plugin, Photoshop plugin, and an application called LuraWave SmartCompress. It appears to have more-or-less abandoned the format around 2002.
