Wenyan (文言) is an esoteric programming language based on ancient Chinese literature, using traditional Chinese characters. It claims to be "guaranteed to be readable by ancient Chinese people", so it's a good choice if you're planning on going in a time machine to teach them programming. It compiles to JavaScript, Python, or Ruby (with support of other languages planned).
