MakerBot instruction file (.makerbot) is a file format containing instructions to a MakerBot 3D printer (Fifth Generation). The MakerBot Desktop software automatically converts data from other formats to this format when saving or sending to the printer.
Other formats used by MakerBot hardware and software: STL, OBJ, S3G, Thing file, and X3G.
