Schematic file format is a data format connected with the Minecraft game. This and other Minecraft-related formats are extensively documented in the Minecraft Gamepedia wiki.
It is an unofficial format not created or endorsed by Mojang AB. It was created by community members for storing sections of Minecraft worlds for third-party programs. It is similar to the Minecraft structure block file format.
