ATASCII is a eight-bit encoding that was used on Atari computers. It uses most, but not all, of the ASCII printing characters; codes 7B through 7F are different. The characters with the high bit set (80 through FF) are, with some exceptions, inverse video versions of the same code ANDed with 7F. | ATASCII is a eight-bit encoding that was used on Atari computers.
