Each character in a line is summed up and undergoes module division leaving a three-digit number that is the checksum. It also includes a group checksum every 15 lines.

A new algorithm was introduced in D:Check II (Issue 10) to better handle missing lines or lines with the wrong number of characters.

The codes may be compatible with Antic's [[TYPO (Type Your Program Once)]]
