VDA-FS or "Verband der Automobilindustrie - Flächenschnittstelle" is a CAD data exchange format for the exchange of geometrical informations.[1] Standardized in Germany under DIN 66301:1986-07.[2]Replaced by the STEP format.[3]
Format Information
VDA files are 3D models in an ascii format. They either contain Version 1.0 or 2.0 of the standard.[4][5]
