Versions of Hallmark Card Studio including 2003 used a project format with HCS extension in the OLE2 Microsoft Compound File format.
Later versions of Hallmark Card Studio including 2010 used a project format with HMK extension in the OLE2 Microsoft Compound File format.
Starting in version 2013 Hallmark Card Studio project format used the HMK extension, but used an XML format.
