TTCODE is a transfer-encoding utility and format, developed by Tom Torfs. It converts a binary file to one that uses only printable ASCII and "high ASCII" characters.

An encoded file starts with ASCII "TTCODE ". In practice, this is followed by another "TTCODE" string.
