TDB, short for Trivial DataBase[2], is a database format used primarily by the Samba suite of programs. It is similar to GDBM, but with support for multiple writers.[3] It is also used by Sweep, an audio editor, to store configuration information.

TDB files have the extension .tdb. They begin with the ASCII magic number TDB file.
