[edit] Format Information

Disklavier recorded and played back in the E-Seq format[3] which pre-dated MIDI. Disks often contained a form of DRM which made copying the disk difficult.[4]

[edit] File Information

FIL files have a header which includes the ascii COM-ESEQ.
