Adobe Dimensions[1] was 3D rendering software, for Mac/Win produced by Adobe as a companion to Illustrator until 2004 when it was discontinued[2]. The final version was 3.01[3]. Not to be confused with the current Adobe Dimension (without the "s") which is the current 3D software for Adobe relaunched in 2017[4].

  • Dimensions Version 1 - Begins with ascii "version" with number "9" usually, ends with "gobject end" Type/Creator AD3D/AD3D
  • Dimensions Version 2 - Begins with ascii "version" with number "17" usually, ends with "gobject end" Type/Creator AD3E/AD3D
  • Dimensions Version 3 - Begins with ascii "%!Adobe-Dimensions" then "version" with number "19" usually, ends with "ggroup end" Type/Creator AD3F/AD3D
