For me it just looks like a list of new identifiers (fmt/xxx) for MIME types. It doesn't show any useful information besides that (okay, for some files it contains signatures), it looks like it's nothing more than the file(1) database with a fancy web GUI (and these made-up identifiers). It even lists obvious compressed formats as "Compression:none". Can someone enlighten me on what I'm missing here?
