==File Identification==
Metashape saves project files in .PSX and .PSZ. PSX is a simple XML file which points to the project folder. PSZ files are [[ZIP]] compressed, which includes all project files except the original project images.

Within the project folder is a dense cloud file with extension .OC3. This file is a proprietary binary file with the header "{{magic|4F430102}}". Older versions may have format with .OCT extension.
